Crisis Response Team

Paws 2 Read
Paws 4 Love dogs play an important role in our community at Washoe County libraries and schools with its Paws 2 Read program for children of all ages.
Justice Dogs Help Comfort Victims of Crime
Justice Dogs (Paws 4 Love Therapy Dogs) are making a big difference in one of the most stressful places, the courtroom by helping victims of crime. The Washoe County District Attorney’s Office brings in the dogs to help empower victims of violent crimes, sexual offenses and crimes against children. Teams are also on the job at the Children Advocate Center in Reno.
Paws on Campus
Paws 4 Love therapy dogs are invited to help students with stress relief throughout the school year at Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC), University of Nevada, Reno, Encompass Academy, and local high schools. We are also invited to local elementary schools during the reading week.
